Anyway I felt these beautiful verses described how I felt today when I was sent some wonderful and simple tender mercies. Even a still thriving flower in the cold beginnings of winter to me is a beautiful tender mercy. How many blessings have you received and not even noticed today? My mom made me stop and count my blessings, so I'm feeling VERY blessed today ;)
"Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Who redeemeth they life from destruction; who cronewth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies"
